  We were very pleased with the home we rented, it was clean, well kept and had was not a run down property. We would have breakfast in the morning, then go explore the rest of the day, return in the evening and prepare supper, this way we could save a lot
  of money. We could visit with our family and still give each space if we wanted to be on our own because the place was so big. The large deck was a plus and having a barbecue to use was also a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and
  the 3 bedrooms were quite large. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this property.

  This was a last minute rental for me. I was expecting that since it was one of only a couple left, that it would be run down. IT WASN'T...the house and furnishing were great. It was very comfortable, clean with upgraded features and I would stay there again. Only two things would make it perfect: 1) if it were closer to beach. 2) Maybe new mattress in the master room. (it seemed to have a sag which rolled you to the middle of the bed)...but it may be that I'm just used to sleeping on a Tempurpedic.
  
  I would definitely stay here again.

  Quiet neighborhood, well-appointed home with deck view of the ocean. We chose it for its wifi, room for the whole family, and proximity to both Rockaway and Seaside. We had a great time.

  We stayed at Pacific Haven for 5 nights. It was even more beautiful than the photos on the website conveyed. None of the 3 bedrooms were next to one another, making us all feel like we had our own space. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The deck and BBQ were wonderful - with trees all around. Felt like we were in a treehouse. It was very quiet and just a short 10 minute walk to the beach.   nice view through the trees. Very light and spacious with vaulted ceilings. Kitchen set-up is very good. Great master bedroom. The only negative is having to drive to beach.

  Recently, my husband, another couple and I stayed at the Ocean's Edge property, and had a fantastic time. There are a few suggestions I have for the owners:
  
  1) Spray for spiders... they have overwhelmed the garage so much that we didn't park in it, and a couple made their way inside.
  2) The living room needs a new couch, or at the very least a slip cover. The whole house is so beautiful and nice, and then there's the couch. It really needs help.
  3) Make the downstairs bedroom a second adult bedroom and put bunk beds in the second upstairs bedroom. It is much more accommodating for the adults.
  
  We absolutely loved the location and the style of the home. Having a washer and dryer was also very helpful. We can't wait to come back!

• It was a beautiful home, very clean, in a quiet area, with a good view, and easy to get to. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, flatware, and cooking utensils. The beds were very comfortable, and the three baths made it very convenient.

  The only problem I had was the afternoon sun. All of the windows on the west side were very nice except when the sun sets. The blinds could be closed on the lower ones, but the upper windows is where the sun shined right in your eyes when sitting in the den. It would be nice to block that direct afternoon sun. But, the short term solution is to sit on the deck. It was nice weather for this.

  We've always been quite happy with Pacific Haven. It's about an 11 minute walk to town or the beach and it's close to 101. Very nice neighborhood. It's always been spotless and OceanEdge has been very helpful.

  Overall, we were very happy with the house, the view, the management, etc. We did have a couple of issues that should be addressed to make the stay completely satisfactory. First, the property advertised internet access, but we had a heck of a time getting and maintaining an internet connection. This was extremely upsetting, as one of our party had based the vacation on the understanding that she could keep in communication with her home office in Louisiana. And she ultimately could not. Second, the bar-b-que grill was so disgustingly dirty that we could not use it. This was a big disappointment, of course. Funny how little details can detract. So it seems it would be worth it to the management company to address these issues to make the property a pretty perfect retreat. Thank you.

  I believe the only mixup was when Chris (?) was not aware of the policy that a sufficient down payment on the rental guarantees that year's fee. At first, this made it seem as though the office was reneging on the contract fee. This was eventually worked out, but caused some unnecessary friction.
