First the rental company are extremely friendly and helpful. The Little Apple Cottage was a perfect get away for me and my wife. Cozy, cute, and accommodating. Short walk to town, and away from the hustle and bustle. No worries about annoying neighbors or renting a hotel room to find out that you and 20 rowdy kids are drunk and running up and down the hallways. Very affordable. Had a free weekend come up on short notice and wanted to take advantage of the crabbing in Nehalem. The house was perfect, at the right price; very clean, nice furniture, everything you need in the kitchen. Staff was helpful and flexible. Would definitely recommend.

The rental was immaculate and the quiet just perfect for our family's lifestyle. We loved the fact that just a 5 minute walk took us to the hub of town and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The only drawback was that there was very space for clothing. No
closet or dresser in the smallest bedroom at all, and no drawers or place for smaller items in the main bedroom (that couldn't be hung up). There was a table of some sort in the bottom of the closet which would be better replaced with shelves or some way to
keep small clothing items tidy.
Loved the location and creature comforts like washer and dryer.

Manzanita is a great alternative to the busier Cannon Beach. Small but nice--not run down at all! The cottage itself was very clean and more than adequate for us and our baby. I think it would be fine even for older children. I would stay there again!
The accomodations were excellent and we had a very relaxing stay. We hope to come again.

Also, the chez lounges were uncomfortable since they couldn't be set more upright. The plastic chairs on the deck were fine and we used those instead. The toaster wasn't working and the office dropped off a new one the same day we let them know. Much appreciated! The house was colorful and very pleasant and on a quite street. I'd only recommend the house for two people, since I think it would be too crowded for four, given the lack of space to unpack.
Likely rent again.

It was a great stay for My wife, me and two young Grand Sons. Perfectly secluded for the kids. It had everything we needed.......should have left some things home that we took with us. Our littlest one left a Teddy Bear behind and they mailed it to our home. Great, friendly staff.

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We experienced very little traffic noise. The condo is an ideal size for a couple of small family. The kitchen was small but well organized.

Our family had a wonderful time in Manzanita, Oregon staying at Little Apple Cottage. It was a great home away from home while visiting the Oregon coast. With a 20 month old and a 5 year old, we wanted a place that would sleep 4, allowed for home cooked meals, and easy access to beach and highway. The accomodations were perfect. My husband, 2 year old and 5 month old stayed at the Little Apple Cottage for a week this summer. It was the perfect size for us. It's a great walk through town to the beach. Probably too long for little ones to do on their own. We packed the kids up in backpacks and walked down no problem. Everything was well cared for and felt new in the apartment. It was a very comfortable place to come home to each evening!

The Little Apple was perfect for us, given that I live upstairs. I was able to add two bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and great gathering place to my own home. We loved and played the games provided, and the well-stocked kitchen. One of the youngsters commented upon walking in, with awe in her voice, "This is NICE!" Yes, indeed, a lovely feeling and perfect location. Much appreciation.

We loved staying at Little Apple Cottage in Manzanita. The property was spotless, the furniture very comfortable, and the amenities were nice for a small family. The kids enjoyed the books and beds in the 2nd bedroom, and the convenience of a washer and dryer was wonderful. The design asthetic was very tasteful and well done. We had nice dinners "at home" and great times walking the windy coast together. Though the distance to the beach was not really "walkable" with toddlers, we didn't mind at all. The quiet neighborhood and greenery made up for it, and there was plenty of oceanside parking. We will gladly recommend this beach house to our friends and family members. Thanks for all the great customer service, too!

The cottage was great. It had its own deck. Cozy, but not too small for 2 people. It might be a light cramped for a larger family. The place was stocked with everything we needed plus games and videos. The place was great. The town Manzanita is tiny. It was raining the whole time we were there so we got kinda bored. I know if the sun were out we'de be on the beach or hiking, but if its raining- bring a book.

The mix up over the keys could have been handled better. When I realized we did the wrong thing I called your office immediately. When you called me Monday the tone was rather accusatory until you realized whoever was in your office Sunday forgot to tell you I called. We are repeat customers and would never think of not following the rules.

You might add the info about the key box to your sheet that you give for check out. This info in on the contract but not on that sheet.

Other than that we love it there...

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Apple last year. While it is a bit of a walk to the beach the exercise is perfect. The area is quiet. The Little Apple has a huge deck with just enough sun and just enough shade...perfect for reading and taking a nap. The house is clean, the furniture perfect for the beach and the beds really, really comfortable. Also, in case you forget a good supply of books and games, the owners have provided a good variety.
