  After just spending the month of March at 114 Lae Nani we are back in New York with some snow. The condo was very comfortable and we cooked in a good deal of the time. We vacationed in Kauai 12 yrs. ago and also stayed at Lae Nani. We will NEVER stay anywhere else. It is centrally located and the beaches are beautiful on the grounds. We would walk to the beach every morning with a cup of coffee to start our day, then end up there in the evening with a glass of wine:).

  It was the vacation of a lifetime. Lae Nani #114 was everything that we saw in the pictures and so much more! It is centrally located on the Island, which was great for trips to the North or South shore. The Condo was relaxing, very clean, and best of all no roosters!! I went for my honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thanks so much Oceanedge, it was a real pleasure to work with all of your the staff. Mahalo.

  Easy access to long walks along the ocean. Close to shopping. Central to all things on the island. An easy drive to Poipu or Princeville and Hanalai

  I liked the unit and its location. My only comment was that there was two tables that were very inconvenient. The large glass one near the kitchen. I banged my leg and knee on that endlessly. Exchange it with something much smaller. And also the one next to the glass doors, it was impossible to open and close the shutters. My only other concern was that tile floors are nice but you could use some large area rugs. It becomes a bit sterile with tile only. I need to stretch and exercise in the mornings and there is no soft place to lie down on. How come no garbage disposal...very messy without one. sorry to be so picky. Overall I loved the complex...great location, beautiful facility and grounds. Teri and Eric are great, Thanks!!

    First, I am glad you loved the complex with its great location and beautiful grounds. There is a glass topped coffee table pushed against a wall and unless the furniture has been moved it is difficult to imagine how a person could bang a leg on it. Curious. We do plan to remove it entirely--I just need to get there to do that. Some guests want tabletops for computers and books and guides and brochures. I'd suggest using the rubber mats that campers use for a thin cushion under sleeping bags. If those have gone missing, I will resupply. Carpets--with so much sand and the red dirt that stains--are impossible to keep clean. Many mainland visitors just forget to leave shoes at the doors. And about the disposal--do you know how many people jam them up with pineapple rinds, mangoes, and even pasta?? I wish we could have kept it there, but . . . I sure hope you come back...with all the upgrades in this condo, it is one of the nicer ones.

  The condo was very pretty/well decorated. The only issue we had was the number of rules regarding hanging towels. Even the drying rack was not supposed to be visible outside the condo. Also, a pair of shoes was stolen from the front of the condo because we were leaving them outside as requested. A security guard pounded on the door our last night and was rude because he thought we weren't supposed to be there. He had the wrong date although he did call and apologize after I complained to the management company.

    We felt so bad to learn that shoes were taken right off the lanai! We do ask people to follow the Hawaiian style of taking shoes off while in the condo--keeps sand on floors to a minimum. We have just had professional cleaners in to deep clean the tile floors so we like to keep them as clean as possible for as long as we can. It surely is NOT okay that the security guard pounded on the door on the last night you were there. I have spoken to the property managers--who receive from me every single arrival and departure date. The guard should have wakened the resident manager (not connected to our renting of the property, but connected to maintenance and security) to check before waking our guests! Finally, all condo associations have a lot of silly rules. The silliest one at Lae Nani, for all units, is the ridiculous idea that towels hanging on a rack in the living room are not to be seen from the grounds as people walk by. Silly, silly. At least our plantation shutters come in several widths. When I am there, I just pull one out and position the drying rack right behind it--so I can still enjoy the view and the light. Next time, all will be better.

  We are from Canada & have never been to Hawaii.We usually travel in winter to Mexico or the D.R. due to the great air charters & the all inclusive program available. So our choice to go to Hawaii was a first!
  We chose Kauai because it was less populated & in photos, looked gorgeous!
  The property we chose was Lae Nani. It was centrally located on the Island, & when we arrived we were thankful we chose this location. The only highway on Kauai gets very busy, so being central worked out great!
  (In photos)I loved the look of the condo & the lovely grounds & pool. When we arrived,we were not disappointed at all. The condo was just like in the photos,but even better. The condo was set up well. Everything you needed for cooking or for the beach was located inside the condo. The ground floor location worked well. We were close to the pool & the foliage that was beside our lanai was simply breathtakingly beautiful!
  On another note, & no fault to Kauai (or the condo), the weather was not great. We had a lot of rain, and even so bad, was woken one night with a recorded phone call (from the Gov't or State) warning us of a potential flash flood. It was a bit scary, but as it turned out, we were safe in the condo! I have been told that the heavy rain & storm was unusual for Kauai (so no need to worry about your planned trip to Kauai).
  I would highly recommend this condo for anyone considering Kauai!

  the unit was very clean and we loved the location. It was so nice to be on the ground floor and right next to the poll. We have stayed at Lae Nani 8 times and this was our favorite unit. It could use more towels, especially for the pool and in the kitchen. We bought some dish towels and left them there. We also bought a bath mat for the tub, because it was a little slippery for us old folks... We will be back. Mahalo!

  Great vacation, ten days in a warm and inviting environment. We had fun every day even those that were a bit cooler with rain. Have not been to Kauai in ten years, there have been many changes some good, some not so much. The apartment was very comfortable ground level next to the pool. Great beach in front of the condos. We wanted to do more snorkeling but the seas were a little rough this trip. After ten days it was tough to leave. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit.

  We had a fabulous time in Kauai and it was 'bested' by having a wonderful suite to come home to. Lae Nani is a beautifully maintained property and our condo, 114, fit the bill. It is clean, well equipped and perfectly positioned in the configuration of the condo complex with easy access out our lanai doors to the pool and the barbeques. We will look to stay at Lae Nani and #114 when we return to Kauai.

  The stay here was very nice. Proffessionalism beamed out of the staff and the owner obviously had put very much thought and consideration into the wellbeing of anyone staying here. personal amenities flourished as much as the ocean nearby. I was however
  dissapointed that I was not able to meander around the property with a lit cigar. I am not an avid smoker but would've liked to couple Kauai's fine things together with ezquisite characteristics of the island and this condo.

  Quiet and comfortable with all the amenities. Well-located on Kauai's east coast, Lae Nani provides an excellent headquarters for exploring the island. We also enjoyed quiet evenings in--grilled fresh fish we picked up at a roadside stand and watched the waves roll in. Enchanting!

  The condo and grounds are beautiful. Right on the ocean, heated pool, easy traveling around the island from this location. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to prepare meals. The company that cleans the condo does a wonderful job.
  Only suggestion, would have been nice to have a couple of beach chairs available. There are noodles, a beach umbrella, and snorkel set...but had to rent a chair. Just a small thing.
  Would recommend this condo to anyone.

  our only complaint was that they did not have updated condo rules and the security guard was quiet short with us for feeding the birds one of the rules so we were told, and they must have very!!watchful tenants as I only feed them once..wow almost creepy..I felt like really giving them a show
