great kitchen..ery well-stocked and organized.I found the mattress in the Master to be too soft (old?). Other than that, great house!
This is a wonderful house, great location that is close to the beach and right next to the golf course. Wonderful back yard and deck, we cant wait to come back again!
We arrived in the January rain. But Saturday and Sunday were good. We played golf and went for a hike. Got some crab from a wharf which was inexpensive and delicious. Played games and read by the fireplace. Nice place to stay anytime.
A bit expensive for a short term stay.
Two empty nesters and their friendly Labradoodle spent a relaxing weekend at Beach Links ... it's an easy walk to the beach, we managed to avoid the flying golf balls that came our way, and the open living area made for a wonderful place to host friends for meals and board games! This is a well-equipped home (except it needs some good knives for chopping up vegetables from the Friday farmers' market), dog and person friendly.
We love this place! We will be renting this one again next year and the one across the street. Thank You
We really enjoyed staying in the Beach Links home. This was our second time as guests in this home. The layout of the kitchen, living and dining area was perfect for our family. The only two things I would change is the TV; it is very dated and the refrigerator; it makes a high pitch noise pretty constantly. However, neither of these two things would prevent us from staying in this home again. We had a great time!
This is the second time we have stayed at Beach Links. It's a very comfortable house! Short three-block walk to beach. Especially nice if you are a golfer, but we aren't! This time our dog went with us and he was very happy! The kitchen was great for cooking Thanksgiving dinner - and the combined large living-dining area was perfect for getting together with our friends from Manzanita. I would highly recommend this house. By the way, it is all on one level and very accommodating for elders, or people with disabilities. This is a good one!!
We loved the house and we could wheel our golf carts to the course from there. Great area for biking in several directions. Close to town and close to the beach. Deck is great for relaxing and reading.
This is a wonderful vacation rental, right by the 1st hole on the golf course. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We loved the large living space, which combines the living, dining, and kitchen areas, and are coming back to enjoy Thanksgiving with friends. This home is also dog-friendly, with a fenced yard! Master bedroom suite was very comfortable. There is an additional bedroom and bath, and a convertable sofa in living area. This is a one-level home, which makes it great for seniors, or families with small children. I would highly recommend this home for any golfers
I would give the everything a 5! The home was spacious, clean, well-equipped-- and just a few short blocks to the beach. We would definitely recomment it to friends and would consider coming again!
We really enjoyed our stay.
We have rented homes from Ocean Edge many times over the past 4 years. They are always very nice places to stay. We have stayed in homes from Neahkahnie to near 101 to ocean frontage. This is the first time we stayed near the golf course. It was a great place to stay. It is less than a five minute walk to the beach. The home is very open, with two bedrooms that have comfy beds (one a king, and being 6'10" tall I very much appreciated it). But the best part was the open kitchen, dining room and living room. It made for a great family gathering area-the cooks were never isolated away from the fun. Finally, the outside decks were perfect for meals and just sitting around having a glass of wine. Beach Links was a great place to stay. Thank you for recommending it Susan.
We didn't stay at Beach Links - we stayed at White Caps. Everything was great except the mildew smell in the ground floor room made that room unusable - we used that space one night but would not do so again. So, we feel it is not accurate to advertise it as sleeping 6. However, the upstairs was great, loved the deck & view & short walk to beach. Also, as always with Ocean Edge Rentals, the house was very clean, which WE REALLY APPRECIATE!
We had a wonderful time and loved the cottage. It had a great kitchen. The deck overlooking the golf course was also wonderful. The deck was also in the shade in the afternoon and was a wonderful place to end the day. We would definitely stay there next time we go to Nehalem.
