This was a reunion vacation with our kids from Portland and the family from Virginia. The house size was perfect for a gathering of this size. The room for the children was great, especially their own TV. The house is a bit of a hike from the beach but, hey, we needed the exercise. Loved it and would definitely recommend it to others.
A treasure beyond the descriptions on the website. Well equipped for a fun-filled vacation. A great room for the children, close to stores and beach. We'll be back! Thank you owners and property managers.
The Bough House was wonderful and Manzanita very adorable! I would suggest more pots for cooking in the kitchen and a more accessible map of the amenities within walking distance of the house, but over all – a delightful stay! Thank you so much! - Athena
Bough house was wonderful for our large group. My nieces and their 8 children came from the east coast to visit their cousins. Bough house was more than an accommodation. Because of it's gracious amenities, it added greatly to our ability to enjoy time together.
We used this house as an overflow rental for a family reunion and it was wonderful.
This is a Verrry beautiful house, with ample room, and great access to the downtown area, and not far from the beach.We would absolutely stay there again.
i suggest that u get a sliding screen door rather than a screen curtain.
only complaints were the kitchen appliances and utensils. The oven and toaster oven need some repair/update. The kitchen was stocked very well with utensils, but had a lot of broken or otherwise useless items. Just need to have a look over the items in the drawers and replace some things. Otherwise a great home!
This home is a wonderful balance of simple elegance at the beach... spacious, well appointed and lots of light. It is truly a special place~
The Bough House was enjoyable and located close to the beach and stores. It was very quiet and a good place to vacation.
Called office for alternate recycle location as was told local site closed. I was told just to leave the extra and they would handle. When dropped keys I was told that info was given by new employee and I would be charged. Person there was argumentative and cranky. The agent should have taken responsibility for what her staff relayed to me. Not nice.
Loved the kitchen, roominess, amenities, openness of home. only thing was the carpets seemed to not be vacuumed and linens and towels seemed well-used and older. also, we asked for a highchair but was told one was available the next day, come to find out when we were preparing to leave that there was one in the closet but didn't know it! would have been nice to use during our stay.
This home was perfect for our visit to Manzanita. It is close to the main street and close enough for us to walk everywhere in town and the beach as well. Great place to stay, I would like to stay there again.
We had a great time- the house was perfect for our group. We had 3 families with several small children and big open space in this house gave them plenty of room to play while still giving the adults enough space as well.
We had a very enjoyable time and would have come back this year but for the cost of the air fares, but we will nbe back next year. The Cheeks London
I was very happy with this place, especially since I was able to reserve it just a few weeks in advance for a busy holiday weekend. No view, but excellent accommodations and close to the beach. We had 4 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us.
